LEADERSHIP ROLES
She is a Chartered Arbitrator, a Chartered Company Secretary, and an expert in Board Room Corporate Governance, Commercial Law, Labour Law and Human Resources Management.
She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (M.B.A), and she has served in various leadership roles including the Chairman, of the Digital Nigerian Bar Association, Head of Legal Services and Technical Contracting on the Oil Mining Lease (OML) 55 Oil and Gas Exploration/Production and National Legal Adviser of various National boards.
She was appointed by the NIGERIAN BAR ASSOCIATION (NBA) in 2022 – 2024 to serve as the “Chairman of Digital NBA” to advance innovation in legal delivery and education in Nigeria and the region. She continues in that role and works closely with the NBA on several strategic projects.
She is passionate about modernizing legal education/training and bridging the gap between the Academy and the marketplace.
Her down-to-earth personality, Bold convictions and Leadership Style have culminated in Bridge Africa naming Her among Africa’s emerging thought leaders in this generation.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
She is the founder of The Young Wigs Foundation, a multi-media platform that provides Lawyers, and tech entrepreneurs with the tools, support, and encouragement necessary to make positive and lasting career changes. Through various resources such as digital and live Events and oline content, it seeks to address the holistic needs of lawyers, and tech entrepreneurs and empower them towards fulfilling and impactful careers.
The flagship event is called the Young Wigs Conference which analyzes the convergence of Law, Business and Technology. The target focus of the Young Wigs Conference is young lawyers living low on the pyramid of scale and working in the hinterlands of Nigeria. Nine editions of the annual Young Wigs Conference have been held in places such as Kano, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Lagos. The conference, which originally started as a 13-person meeting, has now grown into a 12,000-strong community whose annual gathering is the highlight of the year for young lawyers.
Through this conference, the foundation has awarded several tuition scholarships to law students.
